Concept designs are ideal for those with limited construction drawings and no project architect, contractors already on site looking an indicative plan with materials to suit, or competent DIY’ers needing a bespoke kit to suit the property rather than a pre-packed bundle. They identify a suitable budget MVHR unit (alternatives are available), they show suggested duct runs and plant configuration, and they include the precise room-by-room air flow rates required for Approved Document F(1) compliance.
The specification and parts list will feature:

- Recommended install kit & digital controller
- Lightweight, push-fit, Airflow ISO mass flow ducting
- Easy-to-fit Airflex Pro 75mm radial ducting with attenuation
Concept designs are the perfect starting point for anyone managing a project on site, in need of something quickly at trade price. If you don’t already have the skills in-house, enter your postcode then click the Activity Filter on the NICEIC portal. If your property has over 250m2 internal floor area, assume you’ll need a second system then increase the Quantity below. If your property is over 500m2, contact us for project pricing.

The quality of the design depends on the quality of the drawings. We cannot guarantee everything will fit where shown. This is a guide for competent installers only. As a minimum we need floor plans in PDF format. Elevations, sections, and site plan will improve accuracy. AutoCAD plans are welcome. This fee excludes the production of 2D plans, 3D models, site surveys, or design iterations. You are solely responsible for compliance, design suitability, install competency, set-up, and building control notification. Any additional materials required are charged at the Airflow list price plus shipping. Solarcrest do not accept returns if the kit has been unpacked in any way. Nor do we refund unused individual items. Additional design fees apply if your property requires two or more systems.
